About
Ezekiel 33
1 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their awatchman:
3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and awarn the people;
4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his ablood shall be upon his bown head.
5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not awarned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I brequire at the watchman’s hand.
I wanted to start the blog with this scripture as I feel it sums up what this site is all about. I am a watchman. You are a watchman. We are watchmen. As such I feel a responsibility to sound the trumpet.
This is my perception of what I see and how we can be prepared. I will be giving my advice as I see. I will try and take the general counsel we hear or read and give some practical applications of it in real life. Realize this is one persons opinion. You may disagree. Please do not be disagreeable.
This is not an official LDS sponsored or supported site. These are my opinions, and as such do not reflect upont the LDS church or the first presidency or quorum of the twelve.
I hope you will find value in what I have to say. I will be writing, podcasting, and hopefully making some videos. Hopefully some of the information will provide helpful insight when you have to give a talk or lesson.
Please let me know if you have something specific you would like me to write, talk, or see.
